Debit Cards

The Gold Bullion Company offer customers the ability to purchase Gold and Silver online using their debit card. We accept the following debit cards: Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro and MasterCard Debit. There is no surcharge for debit card payments.

Please note, we can only dispatch card orders to the registered card holder’s address. We take card security very seriously; we operate a number of security features to ensure transactions are verified and secured, including 3D Secure and independent security verification.

Visa operates a Verified by Visa scheme to enhance transaction security for customers using Visa debit online. During the checkout process, if you have used your card online previously with a Verified by Visa Secured web site, you may be asked to provide your previously chosen password.

We welcome payments by bank transfer either via online banking or in branch transfers to our account:

Where possible, please use your order number as a reference. Bank transfer payments must be received within 24 hours.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS due to the high charges from Our Bank to process such deposits and Our inability to match cash deposits to orders due to the absence of a reference number facility for cash deposits. PLEASE DO NOT DEPOSIT CASH PAYMENTS INTO OUR BANK ACCOUNT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

If you are choosing to pay by bank transfer, and your transaction is below £5,000, we usually do not ask for any extra identification. However if your transaction exceeds £5,000 or you have completed a series of transactions that exceeds £10,000 in a 12 month period, then we will require a copy of your passport and/or two-part driving licence, and a recent (last 3 months) utility bill.
