Best Value Double Sovereign by The Royal Mint | Mixed years Information
The British Double Sovereign Gold Coin has been issued with the same weight and fineness since 1817. Produced by The Royal Mint in the United Kingdom, it sits alongside the Quarter Sovereign, Half Sovereign, Full Sovereign, and Quintuple Sovereign in the Sovereign range. Each coin weighs 15.98 grams, is struck in 22 carat Crown Gold Alloy, and carries a face value of £2, which is significantly below its intrinsic gold value.
The coin is legal British tender and exempt from Capital Gains Tax (CGT). The obverse has carried portraits of monarchs from Queen Victoria to Queen Elizabeth II, while the reverse typically features St George and the Dragon. Some years include alternative designs.

What Will I Receive?
If you choose delivery:
Your Best Value Double Sovereign by The Royal Mint | Mixed years will be dispatched, fully insured in a sealed, fully secure, nondescript package, there are no identifiable markings to suggest the contents.
Your products will be securely sealed with a secondary internal packet, then again within a further plastic sleeve.
If you choose storage:
These items are stored in high tech and secure vaults that reside in the UK and are fully insured at all times. Should you wish to have these items delivered to you from storage at any point in the future, simply give our storage team a call and they will make arrangements for you.
Please note that delivery of items from storage will incur vault administration, post and packaging fees. The storage team will do their best to keep these costs as low as they can by negotiating the best deal they can with the vaulting providers.
