Credit & Debit Cards

The Gold Bullion Company offer customers the unique ability to purchase gold, silver, platinum and palladium online using their debit or credit card. We accept the following debit cards: Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro and MasterCard Debit and all Visa and MasterCard credit cards (2% credit card surcharge applies - There is no surcharge for debit card payments).

Please note, we can only dispatch card orders to the registered card holder’s address. We take card security very seriously; we operate a number of security features to ensure transactions are verified and secured, including 3D Secure and independent security verification.

Visa operates a Verified by Visa scheme to enhance transaction security for customers using Visa debit and credit cards online. During the checkout process, if you have used your card online previously with a Verified by Visa Secured web site, you may be asked to provide your previously chosen password.

If you haven’t previously created a Verified by Visa account, you will be prompted to create your account before proceeding; setup takes less than a minute and will ensure your card is protected for all future transactions online. Learn more about the Verified by Visa scheme.

When paying by MasterCard, you may be asked to enter your MasterCard Secure Code password, or if using the card for the first time online, you may be asked to create and verify your MasterCard Secure Code account. Learn more about MasterCard Secure Code.

Bank Transfer

We welcome payments by bank transfer payments either via online banking or in branch transfers to our account, sort code 20-07-71 and account number 20110345 – Where possible, please use your order number as a reference. Bank transfer payments must be received within 48 hours.

Pay at your local branch of Barclays Bank

You can make payment for your order in person at any branch of Barclays in the UK, you’ll need to use our sort code 20-07-71 and account number 20110345, if possible, use your order number as a reference. We would advise anyone looking to make payment direct into our Barclays bank account call our sales team on 0121 523 1047 to notify us once payment has been sent. You must make payment within 48 hours of placing your order. Please notify the sales team if you wish to pay cash directley into our bank account. Due to bank charges a charge of 1% will be made for this service.

Cheque

Cheques should be payable to The Gold Bullion Company and sent by first class post to 95 Spencer Street, Birmingham, B18 6DA. Please note cheques must be sent with 24 hours of placing your order and take up to eight business days to clear.
